Affordable Holiday Style

Old Navy:
Mock-Neck Rib-Knit Swing Dress: This dress really has the potential to be a closet staple. It’s a super flattering shape, and it’ll take you from holiday to holiday. I especially love the Maroon Jive color! I would pair this with a fun pair of tights and knee high boots.

Waist-Defined Ruffle-Trim Faux-Wrap Georgette Dress: I love this piece because you can dress it up or dress it down. And wrap dresses are flatting on errrryone. With the black it’s so easy to throw on some gold jewelry and cute chunky heals and away you go.

Plaid Swing Shirt Dress: I am like 99% sure this is what I’m wearing to Thanksgiving. It’s up in the air if I’m going to throw a chunky turtleneck sweater over it, or just a fun scarf. Stay tuned. But this dress is the most comfortable thing I’ve ever owned. It fits oversized, and I would actually size down one. That’ll still leave room for your post Thanksgiving dinner food baby.

American Eagle:
Turtleneck Cable Knit Sweater Dress: I absolutely love both the colors that this dress comes in. I’m thinking the Oatmeal color will be my Christmas Eve dress of choice… too early to tell. BUT. How freaking cozy!!! I love dresses that are really cute but you can still feel snuggly in.

Soft & Sexy Plush Shift Dress: I have pretty much lived in this dress all fall. It is one of the softest pieces that I own. I usually just throw on some chocolate brown tights, and knee high boots with it. But I think it’d also be really cute with the right over the knee boots. But I have yet to find a pair of over the knee boots that fit my monster calves. SOS.

V-Neck Lace Jumpsuit: So I am not a jumpsuit person. Wish I was. I just look really weird in them. Maybe someday. But how stinkin’ cute is this one!!?? The shape is flattering, the neckline is flattering, and that little bit of lace detail is gorgeous. I may cave and become a jumpsuit person just for this piece. I just don’t understand how you pee while you’re in it.

Chenille Cable Pullover: If you’re like me and you don’t really know how to be fancy, a sweater like this is a really great option. It’ll pair well with a nice pair of pants, or even a fun skirt! You can dress it up or down, which I’m into.

Faux Fur Vest: This is out of my comfort zone in a big way. But that’s part of the fun of style isn’t it? Trying new things? I’ve seen this styled by a few different bloggers of all shapes and sizes and it looks AMAZING on everyone!!! I’d keep it super simple with the SPANX faux leather leggings, a black turtleneck, and black booties with this piece.

Mock Neck Pullover: This is another piece that you can dress up or down depending on how formal you guys go on holidays. I’m really into the mock neck vibes this year too!! Turtlenecks sometimes make me feel like I’m choking to death, so these are a super great option. This pullover would go great with literally anything: jeans, a dressier pant, or a skirt! I would even throw it over a dress.

Velvet Pleated Midi Skirt: Talk about out of my comfort zone. But I’m going to need to find a holiday party to wear this to. Currently accepting any and all invites. It. Is. So. Fun. And so festive! Velvet, pleats, and gold. Are we back in the 90’s? Don’t even care. I would just tuck in a basic long sleeve top (white or black) with some awesome chunky jewelry!
