I absolutely LOVE trying new makeup products. It’s one of my favorite things. But shopping at places like Sephora can be wicked expensive, and no one has the budget for that right after the holidays. So I put together a little guide with my favorite drug store finds!!! You can build your entire makeup back for under $70. And let me tell you, I like some of these products way more than my expensive brand name stuff. I will never spend $30 on foundation ever again.
1// Wet n’ Wild Photo Focus Foundation – $5.99
This foundation is why I’ll never spend stupid money on makeup again. It’s AMAZING. It is so light weight, medium coverage, and the applicator is fantastic and keeps your fingers from getting nasty and covered in makeup. It goes on super smooth with a beauty blender or a brush.
2// Elf Cosmetics Bronzer Palette – $4.00
What I love about this palette is that it can take you from season to season. A darker shade for when you’re nice and tan in the summer, and a lighter shade for when we’re in mid February and pasty AF.
3// Elf Cosmetics Illuminating Palette – $6.00
Whoever said matte is in is insane. I will never dull the glow. Nope nope nope.
4// Maybelline Dark Circle Eraser Concealer – $9.99
THIS CONCEALER IS MAGIC. MAGIC. I looooove it leaps and bounds more than any other concealer I’ve ever used. Which includes the cult favorite Tarte Tape Shape. And I sort of feel like I’m betraying Tarte/Sephora by saying that but it’s just that good.
5// Wet n’ Wild Color Icon Eyeshadow Palette in Nude Awakening – $4.99
I am still very much learning when it comes to eyeshadow. So, basic is better. These are just some solid neutral shades that you can mix and match.
6// Maybelline Lash Sensational Lucious Mascara – $8.99
Having the fine hair that I do, also means that I look like my eyelids are bald. And this mascara does just the trick to thicken my lashes right up! I will say it’s a wicked pain in the ass to wash off, but while it’s on it’s fabulous.
7// LA Girl Cosmetics Just Blushing – $7.00
This blush is SUPER pigmented so a little goes a long way… but that also means you can live off one palette for a really long time!
8// NYX Studio Finishing Powder – $4.99
I’ve posted abut this finishing powder before and I am still loving it. I’ve been exclusively using it for a few months and it is soooooo light and keeps all my makeup in one place all day. Again, a little goes a long way, so I’ve have the same thing of it for close to 4 months and I’m still only 3/4 of the way through it.
9// NYX Soft Matte Lip Cream – $3.89
This gloss comes in literally a million colors and stays put forever. It’s fantastic on it’s own, but it also pairs really nicely with liner.
10// Docolor 9 Piece Brush Set – $9.99
I have been LIVING for these brushes. They are so soft, the color is fun, and they do an amazing job distributing the product. And it’s under ten bucks! I mean come on!
