Yesterday, I had a terrible, horrible, no good very bad day. And there were a size-able handful of people in my life who also had craptastic days recently. So today, we are taking a break from our regularly scheduled programming of style, home decor, and weight watchers recipes to spread a little positivity. This post is for all my people having a terrible, horrible, no good very bad day.
This is your daily reminder that this hard time is only a season. A day can feel like a year, and you’re exhausted and emotionally drained. Feel what you need to feel, then let it go. Hey… I saw you just roll your eyes at me. I know. It’s easier said than done. But sitting still and allowing negativity to dictate your life will make you crazy. It’s OK to feel like shit. It’s OK to cry it out. It’s OK to take a mental health day from work. Do what you’ve gotta do to feel what you need to feel and move on.
You are strong. You are a badass. And life doesn’t throw you anything you can’t handle. So pull up your big girl panties and say it with me: BRING IT ON. You have GOT THIS. Even on your worst days you are a strong and incredible human. You are an absolute shining star and don’t for one second ever let anyone make you feel less than.
Surround yourself with people who understand just how freaking special you are, and look to them for help if you need it. You don’t have to take on the world alone.
Keep your head high, and never forget how wildly capable you are.
